Valentines Wooden Letters
Pin It
Here is the only decor I have made for Valentines so far and actually made these a couple of years ago. My son keeps on asking when I will put out more stuff! I will have to get on the ball and make some new decorations to add for next Valentines day!
I bought these wooden letters at wood connection in Utah and got this scrapbook paper at a local scrapbook store.
First I traced the wooded letters onto scrapbook paper then I cut out the letters. Next I painted the edges of the wooden letters with brown acrylic paint then I modpodged the paper letters onto the wooden letters and when it was dry I sanded the edges of the paper with sandpaper to add a little more detail.

Happy Valentines day
I had this card that I had started working on over a week ago. One of those projects you set down and remember to finish sometime later (I have lots of those). Well I was happy that I did because I really wanted to post this one in time for Valentines day. A friend of mine had a cuttlebug embossing machine that I used for the white backround of this card. Had so much fun with the machine that I ended up buying one as an early b-day present for me. My b-day is next month, so I could justify it. Plus it was on sale!

I am very excited to start my new blog and even more excited to share my passion for scrapbooking, papercrafting, and anything to do with creating art in some form. So seeing how Valentines is almost here I will be sharing a couple of projects I have been working on for that. This 1st project are chocolate boxes made with hershey treasure nuggets. If anyone is interested in the template to make the chocolate box let me know. I used acetate paper for the cover and stamped paper covers for the chocolate nuggets with the polka dot backround stamp from stampin up. They were very fun and fairly easy to make. They make perfect gifts for teachers.
